Events » Year of Romania at Kennesaw State University, Georgia

For the past seven years, the Institute of Global Initiative at Kennesaw State University, Georgia has organized a "Year of a Country" program. The 2010-2011 academic year is the Year of Romania.  Professor Rodica Mihaila was invited to give the opening lecture, entitled "Romania: from the crossroads of empires to the globalized world." On September 7, Professor Mihaila gave a second lecture for the American Studies students. An agreement for academic and student exchange between Kennesaw State University and the University of Bucharest was signed.
